EARLY RESULTS FROM LAS VEGAS: PONOMAREV, BAUER REGISTER WINS

MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA, LAS VEGAS -- The undercards of the Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley WBO super championship fight are underway late this afternoon Saturday.
In the curtain raiser, Konstantin Ponomarev of Russia (30-0-0, 13KO) stays unbeaten and kept NABF welterweight title via split decision over Brad Solomon of Ladayette, LA over 10 rounds. Scores: 98-92, 94-96, 96-94. (top photo)
In the second fight, Leon Bauer (8-0-0, 6KO) of Karlsruhe, Germany wins via unanimous decision over Ilshat Khusnulgatin (12-2-0, 6KO) of Samara, Russia in a six round super middleweight bout. Scores: 59-55, 59-55, 60-54.
Bauer connects with a right over Khusnulgatin.
