By Mark Josef PhilBoxing.com Fri, 29 Jan 2016

TORONTO --- The Toronto Raptors beat the New York Knicks, 103-93, Thursday night at the Air Canada Centre and set a franchise record of 10 consecutive wins.
The victory over the depleted Knicks eclipsed the Raptors' previous record of nine in a row in 2002.
Named as a reserve member of the Eastern Conference team in the upcoming 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto, DeMar DeRozan flourished with 26 points, four assists and a pair of blocks. Kyle Lowry, who was questionable prior to tip-off due to an injured hand, played and poured in 26 points, 10 dimes and six rebounds.
Jonas Valanciunas also came up big for the Raptors with 11 points and 18 boards. Corey Joseph added 11 points and Patrick Patterson had 10 as Toronto moved up to 31-15 in standings and second overall in the Eastern Conference.
Aaron Afflalo led the Knicks with 20 points while Sasha Vujacic and Jerian Grant each had 13.
New York, which played without Carmelo Anthony (sore left knee), Jose Calderon (sore right groin) and Kristaps Porzinis (upper respiratory illness), fell to 10th place in the East with a 22-26 record.
