NBA -- Bulls drop fourth straight at United Center

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls' home woes continued on Monday night at the United Center where the Miami Heat escaped with a come-from-behind 89-84 victory.
Held to just 12 third-quarter points, the Heat stormed back in the final frame by outscoring the Bulls, 28-16. Dwyane Wade's jumper with 22.9 seconds left to play pushed the Heat up, 88-84, sealing Chicago's fate.
Wade scored 10 of this 28 points in the final frame to pace the Heat. Chris Bosh added 19 points and seven boards while Luol Deng, an ex-Bull who spent 9 1/2 seasons in Chicago, pitched in nine points.
"We gutted it out tonight. We played under control and that win doesn't happen without a a good defensive effort. It was a good win for us," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra told the Associated Press.
The Heat played without injured starters Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic, improved to 24-21, seventh place in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls, meanwhile, dropped to 25-19 to stay in fourth place in the East.
Pau Gasol had a monster night with 19 points and 17 rebounds, but it all fell for naught as Chicago struggled greatly, shooting just 35 of 88 from the field (39.8 percent). Jimmy Butler, missed 10 of 15 shots, to finish with 13.
Derrick Rose scored only four points and the former MVP left for good in the second quarter with hamstring and back issues.
