By Carmen Balmaceda PhilBoxing.com Thu, 05 Nov 2015

INDIANAPOLIS -- Monta Ellis sank two free throws with 13.9 seconds left in regulation and the Indiana Pacers escaped with a 100-98 victory over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Pacers won despite shooting only 35 of 91 from the field (38.5 percent), 8-of-23 from 3-point range (34.8 percent) and 22 of 29 from the free throw stripe (75.9 percent). It was Indy's second straight triumph after stumbling to an 0-3 start.
Boston could have reversed the outcome in the final 1.9 seconds of action but Avery Bradley, who pumped 21 points, missed his triple attempt. The Celtics fell to 1-3 in the Atlantic Division.
Paul George led the Pacers with 26 points and 10 rebounds while Jordan Hill had 16 and 10 boards. Eliis added 13 points and eight dimes. George Hill and Glenn Robinson III contributed 10 apiece..
"We were playing together more, not just on the offensive end. We have been helping each other and communicating better and be there for one another," Hill told NBA.com.
Isaiah Thomas topped the Celtics with 27 points and Jae Crowder chipped in 12..
