Nonito Donaire who will partner Dyan Castillejo on the telecast wished the ALA boxers all the best and himself said he believes it will be an exciting evening of boxing at the venue where he himself had two smashing wins against Jeffrey Mathebula to capture the IBF title and WBA super champion Toshiaki Nishioka to win the vacant WBC super bantamweight Diamond Belt in 2012 and was named 2012 ?Fighter of the Year.? In a brief conversation with us, Nietes, the longest reigning Filipino world champion said he is ?excited and feeling good given the chance to fight in America for the Filipino fans? and promised that if he got the chance he would knock out Alejo as he prepared to face the tough Mexican champion who commended Nietes for being a ?complete boxer and one of the best? but indicated he is ready to put up a good fight even if it goes twelve rounds.
