CLETO REYES CELEBRATES 70 YEARS OF PRODUCING GLOVES FOR CHAMPIONS

The famous Cleto Reyes brand has celebrated 70 years of producing gloves for Champions in addition to quality boxing equipment by unveiling a statue in honor of their founder.
The WBC recalled that ?seven decades ago, Don Cleto Reyes, made the first gloves for Champions, starting an enterprise that is now recognized as one of the very best throughout the boxing world.?
It noted that Cleto Reyes exports its products to the 5 continents.
Alberto Reyes, who leads the Enterprise that his Father created, recognized that Cleto Reyes has been successful due to the support of boxers and the popularity of boxing in Mexico
The WBC website quoted Alberto Reyes who said "This celebrations is possible thanks to all boxers, who've supported us for seventy years. Thanks to them we are here now.?
He stressed "Our philosophy is to gave the best possible quality service, respecting what boxers deserve.?
He also highlighted that one of the biggest challenge has been surviving tough eras of the Mexican economy. He acknowledged the great pride he feels for being able to see CLETO REYES used all over the world.
WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman, compared his life to Albert?s, with the both helping, learning, supporting and accompanying their Fathers, Don Cleto and Don Jose.
Among the great champions who attended what was described as ?a memorable event? were Cristian Mijares, Pedro Guevara, Carlos Cuadras, Ibeth "Roca" Zamora, Zulina "Loba" Mu?oz, ?dgar Sosa, and others.
Eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao will wear Cleto Reyes gloves which are known as ?punchers gloves? when he battles undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 2.
