A media man was in front of Manny Pacquiao?s mansion on Plymouth Street this city early Monday evening waiting for the World Boxing Organization welterweight king to arrive from another long workout at the Wild Card Gym over in Hollywood. Pacquiao spent more than an hour roadwork cum conditioning exercises earlier that day at the rolling Griffith Hills. He did the mitts for 12 rounds with chief trainer Freddie Roach mid-afternoon (15 had Roach heeded his request or additional rounds as he usally do) before honoring an earlier commitment somewhere in this City of Angels. Some of Pacquiao?s men kept the newsman at the house fa?ade, while waiting for the host. The champ?s younger Bobby, a former boxer himself, was there.
