NBA -- Knicks lose seven straight at the Garden
By Jehanne Chiong Baraquil PhilBoxing.com Sun, 21 Dec 2014

SAN FRANCISCO -- The New York Knicks' extremely disappointing season continued with yet another loss on Saturday afternoon, this time against the fast-running Phoenix Suns, 99-90, at the Madison Square Garden.
It was the Knicks' seventh straight defeat in their building where they are a mere 31-2 for the season. New York is 5-24 overall, just a slim one game ahead of the 2-23 Philadelphia 76ers for last place in the league.
"I can just see it out there on the court, that we don't believe in ourselves to be able to go down the stretch and win basketball games," Carmelo Anthony told ESPN after the disappointing finish,
Anthony did his best to salvage a win, peppering the Suns with 25 points and 11 boards, but the Knicks made only 35 of 88 shots, a dismal 39.8 percent. New York also fared poorly from above the 3-point arc, 7-for-22.
Guards Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas combined for 47 points to lead Phoenix while Markieff Morris added 19. The Suns made only 35 of 78 field goals but they compensated for it by drilling 10 of 25 triples.
