NBA -- Augustin drops 24, Bulls trounce Pistons

CHICAGO - The Chicago Bulls came back from an 18 point deficit to beat the Detroit Pistons, 106-98, at the United Center Friday night.
The victory was the Bulls' 7th straight.
The Bulls were led by rising star DJ Augustin who scored 24 points off the bench and provided spark to a Bulls team that started flat.
Carlos Boozer had 18 points for Chicago, Taj Gibson had 17 points and Mike Dunleavy Jr. scored all of his 14 points in the second half to pull a 15-0 run in the fourth quarter and turned the game around.
With the Toronto Raptor's loss to New York Knicks, the Bulls are now in third place in the Eastern Conference with homecourt advantage in the first round of playoffs.
Detroit Pistons had a lot of help from Andre Drummond with 26 points and 26 rebounds, Rodney Stuckey 22 points, and Brandon Jennings with 17 points but was not enough to prevent the 18th loss in 20 road games.
The 47-32 Chicago Bulls play the Knicks in New York on Sunday.(CMR)
