NBA -- Heat whip Bucks, notch 50th win
By Joaquin Ramos PhilBoxing.com Sun, 30 Mar 2014

MILWAUKEE -- Even without the injured Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen and Mario Chalmers, the Miami Heat had little trouble disposing the host Milwaukee Bucks Saturday night.
Chris Bosh guided the way for Miami with 14 points while LeBron James added 13 and seven rebounds. Point guard Toney Douglas and reserve Rashard Lewis each had 13 points and the Heat won going away, 88-67.
The Heat won despite making only 32 of 74 field goals (43.2 percent) including 7-for-23 from 3-point country.
After losing narrowly to Indiana last Wednesday, the Heat have now won back-to-back, wrapping their 3-game Midwest road trip at 2-1. Miami also annihilated the Detroit Pistons yesterday, 110-78.
With an improved record of 50-22, the two-time defending champions Heat moved to within 1 1/2 games behind the 52-21 Indiana Pacers for the best record in the Eastern Conference.
Held to just 12 in the opening quarter, the Bucks' offense couldn't get any traction all night. They missed 52 of 79 shots and made just four of their 14 triples. And they missed five of their 14 free throws.
Ramon Session led the Bucks with 15 points while Brandon Knight registered 13 and five assists. John Henson tallied 12 and 10 boards and the Bucks dropped to a league-worst 14-59 record. (JR)
