Nicaraguan 2-time world champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzales - owner of a ruthless fighting record of 38 wins with 32 KO, no defeats no draws - is already in Japan doing his fine-tunning preparation for his 8-rounder clash against 22-year-old Filipino boxer Juan Purisima (11-4-1, 4 KO's) of Zamboanga del Sur next Sunday (April 6) in Tokyo.

"Chocolatito" Gonz?lez - a boxer of the Japan's top promoter Akihito Honda of Teiken Boxing - is being guided in Japan by head coach Arnulfo Obando; and his main goal in Japan is ravaging Juan Purisima to reaffirm himself as the next in line to challenge WBC Flyweight World Champion Akira Yaegashi (19-3, 9 KO's) of Yokohama.

Wearing a long sleeves sweat shirt with the famous Superman logo, "Chocolatito" Gonzalez run on the thread mill located in his hotel, then made some shadow boxing, and that was it as his main training was already done in is native Nicaragua.

"Thanks be to God that I am back again in Japan again. I love to fight here because fans are so nice to me. I think they like my style of boxing," said the 26 year-old "Chocolatito" Gonzalez who conquered his first world title back in 2008.

Chocolatito Gonzalez has been and undefeated 105 lbs world champion as well as a 108 lbs world champion, most of his fights won by way of knockout, and now he has his eyes on the 112 lbs throne.

The coming battle against Juan Purisima is supposed to be a preparation for his much anticipated blockbuster showdown against Akira Yaegashi, since "Chocolatito" Gonzalez is the mandatory challenger.

"I will fight on the undercard of Yaegashi and that's important because will watch him fighting once again in the ring. In addition, both of us fighting in separate bouts is an opportunity to promote our upcoming war, which could be in August or September of this year here in Japan," shared Gonzalez.

But, if Chocolatito wants to challenge Yaegashi he must first overcome the Filipino Juan Purisimaan, a Filipino warrior of heart and all the intentions of spoil the planned party.

On paper, Juan Purisima - who hasn't climbed the ring in 7 months - is not supposed to represent any big danger to an undefeated powerful experienced warrior as Roman Gonzalez. But in boxing we never know.

Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez ultimate goal is to become the second fighter from Nicaragua to become a 3-division world champion.

The only Nicaraguan ever to achieve such a feat of capturing world titles in 3 divisions (with no "catchweights") is his hero, the legendary "Explosive Thin Man" Alexis Arg?ello (Rest In Peace), one of the greatest, most beloved Latino Boxers in history.

Will Chocolatito Gonzalez be able to achieve his life's dream? He first have to defeat Purisima and then Yaegashi.
