NBA - Nets dominate paint to beat Celtics 114-98

NEW YORK -- The Brooklyn Nets extended their home win streak to 11 games beating the Boston Celtics 114-98 on Friday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The win moved New York to within 1 1/2 games behind the Atlantic Division leading Toronto Raptors.
Nets All Star guard Joe Johnson led the way drilling six 3-pointers on his way to 27 points. After the game, Johnson told reporters the great ball movement is helping create good shots for him and his teammates. This was evidenced by his six-of-eight shooting from beyond the arc.
Former Celtic Paul Pierce added 14 points for the Nets. Brooklyn forward Mason Plumlee also chipped in by scoring 18.
The Boston Celtics were lead by point guard Avery Bradley's 28 points. Rajon Rondo continued his effective play with a double-double notching 12 points and 12 assists.
The Nets dominated the points in the paint with a 62-30 edge. Brooklyn has won 18 of its last 20 at home and improved to 29-10 since Jan. 1, which is the best mark in the Eastern Conference in that time span.
