By Absalon Inocian, Jr. PhilBoxing.com Mon, 10 Mar 2014

NEW ORLEANS -- Anthony Davis, also known as AD 23 -- may have found himself a new moniker, A.D. -- Always Delivers.
The 6-foot-10 Davis, a University of Kentucky alum, delivered a career-tying 32 points, 17 rebounds and six blocked shots to left the New Orleans Pelicans past the Denver Nuggets in overtime, 111-107.
After a weak start, trailing by 12 in the opening quarter, the Pelicans charged back when Davis poured 13 in the third quarter. He also forced a crucial jump ball in the final 17.5 seconds of regulation, helping force an extra session where New Orleans barely escaped.
Tyreke Evans finished with 20 for New Orleans while Antony Morrow added 14 and 3 steals, Reserve Austin Rivers had an impressive contribution off the bench with 13 points and 5 assists.
Kenneth Farried led the Nuggets with 22 points and 14 rebounds while Ty Lawson and Aaron Brooks each had 15.
The Pelicans improved to 26-37 while the Nuggets dropped to 27-35. (AIJ)
