OAKLAND -- The Golden State Warriors won their third straight game Saturday night, beating the Brooklyn Nets, 93-86, at the Oracle Arena.
The Warriors, who head out on a six-game road trip, played without All-Star David Lee (lingering symptoms of a stomach flu) but still managed to gut out a hard fought victory.
Without Andrew Bogut for the seventh straight game, 17-year veteran Jermaine O?Neal stepped up with his best game of the year with 23 points and 13 rebounds It was only O'Neal's sixth game of the season due to an injured wrist.
The Brooklyn Nets had won five of their last seven games before falling to the Warriors. They were led by Deron Williams' 20 points while Joe Johnson added 15. Andray Blatche finished with 14 and eight boards.
Draymond Green, who replaced Lee in the starting lineup had a ?Lee-like? double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Newly acquired, Steve Blake, had another solid game off the bench with five assists in just 16 minutes. (LA)
