WBC SILVER FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ROBINSON "ROBIN HOOD" CASTELLANOS VS. RENE ALVARADO AND WBC YOUTH LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ROBERTO "TITO" MANZANAREZ VS. CARLOS "COREANO" RODRIGUEZ

LOS ANGELES (Feb. 11) - Owner of boxing's most deceiving record, Mexico City's Robinson "Robin Hood" Castellanos will look for his 12th straight win on Saturday, February 15 when he defends his WBC Silver Featherweight Championship against Nicaragua's Rene Alvarado in the main event of a Televisa and FOX Deportes-televised card at Centro Internacional de Convenciones in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.

In the co-main event, scheduled for 10 rounds, Los Mochis' Roberto "Tito" Manzanarez faces off with San Buenaventura, Chihuahua, Mexico's Carlos "Coreano" Rodriguez for the WBC Youth Lightweight Championship.

After starting off his professional career with a dismal 8-9 record, 31-year-old Robinson "Robin Hood" Castellanos (19-9, 12 KO's) began a hot streak that hasn't cooled off yet, as he's won 11 straight since 2010. The WBC Silver champion since 2011, Castellanos has defeated former world champion Celestino Caballero and always tough Derrick Wilson in defense of his crown, and this Saturday, he will seek yet another successful title fight win.

Twenty-four-year-old Managua native Rene Alvarado (19-2, 13 KO's) has won five of his last six, with four of those wins coming by knockout. The way the former Nicaraguan champion sees it, that's a good omen for him heading into the biggest fight of his career, a televised showdown with Castellanos for the WBC Silver title.

Lightweight phenom Roberto "Tito" Manzanarez (25-1, 21 KO's) has done a lot thus far in his pro career, winning all but one of his 26 bouts while winning the WBC Youth Intercontinental title that he defended twice in 2013 with knockouts of Francisco Camargo and Alejandro Barrera. Now ready to start off his 2014 season with a bang, the 19-year-old has every intention of scoring another knockout this weekend.

Looking to not only stop Manzanarez' hot streak but go home to Chihuahua with his first pro title, Carlos Rodriguez (8-0, 3 KO's) has had a steady climb thus far in a career that began in February of 2012, and now two years later, he's ready for his big step-up fight on Saturday night.

Castellanos vs. Alvarado, a 12-round bout for Castellanos' WBC Silver Featherweight title, is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Cancun Boxing de Pepe Gomez and sponsored by Corona. Doors open at 5pm CT and the first fight begins at 6:30pm CT. The Televisa broadcast will air on Channel 5 and begins at 10:30pm CST and the FOX Deportes broadcast will air at 8pm ET on Monday, February 17.
