Petalcorin, the current PABA Champion & ranked WBA #2 in the world, will fight at Malvern Town Hall on Friday, 28th of February for a defense of his title against a Thailand PABA rated boxer over 12 rounds. The 22-year-old Petalcorin is having his second fight in Melbourne Australia after icing FMR Thai champion Samransak Singmanasak who had 27 KO wins to his name in 3 rounds to regain his PABA title at Malvern Town hall on November 8th. Petalcorin has began his training camp under the watchful eyes of the Managquil brothers and coach Renee at General Santos gym in order to be fit & ready to travel to Melbourne and defend his title and secure the number #1 world ranking. His boxing record is 20 wins with 15 KO's. "Mr Sean Buckley will be present to witness Randy fight. If he is impressed, I am sure we can promote a World Title fight with Randy in Melbourne with Mr Buckley's support and TV network Station C31 who have been running the KO Boxing Show on air since 2002 and close to TV 500 episodes," Maniatis added. Maniatis said they "have contacted the WBA to secure Petalcorin a shot at WBA Champion Alberto Rossel of Peru." However, Petalcorin must successfully defend his PABA title for the Petalcorin vs Rossel WBA World title fight to happen either in Australia or Peru as Rossel is due for his mandatory defense of his WBA title he won in June 2012.
