NBA -- Warriors host Pelicans on coach Jackson's bobble head night

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Golden State Warriors start off their three game home stand with an encounter with the New Orleans Pelicans Tuesday night (Wednesday morning in Manila) at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
Today's match will be played without Warriors forward Andre Iguodala, who will miss his 12th game of the season with a left hamstring injury. Jermaine O?Neal is also out due to wrist surgery.
The Pelicans, meanwhile, will hit the road without their starting power forward Anthony Davis, who is recovering from a broken left hand. The status of Tyreke Evans, who us dealing with a sprained ankle, remains uncertain as the Pelicans are very cautious about playing him and risking further injuries.
Golden State head coach Mark Jackson questioned his team?s recent lack of effort and told reporters, ?We are not playing 48 minutes with a sense of urgency. I am finding that the guys in the suit and tie want it more than the guys in uniform.?
While Jackson fumes about the recent Warrior losses, the team and fans hope to uplift the head coach?s spirits with a win on Mark Jackson bobble head night at the arena. (EM)
