Edgar Gabejan beat Joseph Von Minoza by unanimous decision in the ten round main event of the ?Cobra Lakas ng Pinas? fight card held Saturday at Sitio Silihan Brgy.Mahabang Parang in Angono, Rizal.
The 31 year old Gabejan (25-29-6, 7 KO?s), from Binangonan, Rizal, is coming off a six round split decision win over Festus Omondi of Uganda in a fight held in Hong Kong last May. The 22 year old Minoza (14-6, 6 KO?s) had back to back losses abroad last year to Eduard Troyanovsky in Russia and Kota Fukuoka in Japan.
For the undercards ? Christian Abila beat Benjie Sunganob by TKO, Mico Sacro won by unanimous verdict against Joel Taduran, Niero Saldon had a split draw with Rogelio Pancho, Fedil Cuymo beat Roy Morillo by unanimous decision and Ernie Mino,Jr won by unanimous decision over Kenith Lacdang.
