Jimmy Paypa of Lanao del Norte will take on Jovil Marayan of Bulacan in the main event of the ALA-Cobra Tunay na Lakas fight card in Cagayan de Oro City Saturday November 23.
Paypa weighed in at 123 lbs while Marayan was at 121 lbs during the official weigh-in Friday. They will fight for ten rounds. Paypa is coming off an impressive unanimous decision won over Jason Redondo in Balamban, Cebu two months ago.
A special attraction for this card is the six rounder between former national team member Vic Saludar and Powell Balaba. Saludar weighed 108 lbs while Balaba was at 109 lbs.
Albert Villacampa (112.5 lbs) and Roger Echavez (116 lbs) will also fight for ten rounds.Rounding up the card are Brian Lobitania (118) vs Nikong Calamba (118 lbs) ? 8 rounds, Jonas Sultan (117.5) vs Rocky Alvarez (116) ? 6 rounds, Lito Dante (105) vs Jovel Romasasa (109) - 8 rounds, Junuel Lacar (109 lbs) vs Paolo Perono (111 lbs)? 6 rounds and Freddie Bisande (123 lbs) vs Junjie Codilla (124 lbs) ? 4 rounds. Fight time is at 6 PM
