Grizzlies hand Warriors first home defeat of the season
By Wilson Alday PhilBoxing.com Fri, 22 Nov 2013

OAKLAND -- The Memphis Grizzlies stained Golden State's perfect home record of the season, beating the Warriors, in overtime, 86-81, Wednesday night at the Oracle Arena.
With an energetic crowd behind them, the Warriors started strong and with Harrison Barnes getting hot early, Golden State raced to a 26-16 lead after one quarter of play. The Warriors kept their 10-point lead at halftime with Barnes leading all scorers with 12.
But the Grizzlies came back strong in the second half, outscoring the Warriors 41-31 before seizing control for good in the five-minutes extension with a 13-6 spurt.
Big men Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol led Memphis' charge with a combined 39 points and 23 rebounds. Point guard Mike Conley Jr finished with 19 and four assists as the Grizzlies overcame a poor shooting night when they made just 38.6 percent from the field and 25 percent from 3-point range.
Klay Thompson topscored for the Warriors with 21 points and David Lee contributed 18 and eight boards, Center Andrew Bogut had a monster night, 12 points and 14 rebounds, and Barnes finished with 18. Warriors ace Stephen Curry didn't suit up, no thanks to a mild concussion he sustained in the Utah game.
The Warriors dropped to 8-4 while the Grizzlies improved to 7-5.
