WEBB KEEN TO BOOST HIS RATING WITH TWO TITLES

Toowoomba boxer Josh Webb, who is the current Victorian state light heavyweight champion, will be looking to add another title to his collection when he takes on Sunshine Coasts Phillip Maley for the vacant Queensland light heavy weight title at the Gold Coast on December 1.
Webb is currently on a 5 fight-winning streak and trainer Brandon Wood believes after winning the Victorian title, the Queensland title is the next logical step.
?Having won the Victorian light heavyweight title, the Queensland title was the next logical step,? said Wood.
?Phil Maley has some great names on his record, having beaten Mark ?Bam Bam? Flanagan and stopping Callan Orchard as well as losing a close decision to Shane McConville.?
?He is by far the most dangerous opponent Josh has faced and a win on December 1 will put him in to Australian title contention?.
Manager Brendon Smith also believes this is Josh?s toughest fight to date.
?Brandon Wood and Josh Webb have had an incredible year,? said Smith.
?I know they are working hard for this fight and are hungry for two state title belts to cap off the year?.
