ABS-CBN Brings Nation's Biggest Women's Sports Event to the Rest of the World

Manila, Philippines - The Yalin Women's World 10-Ball Championship continues to be the biggest women's sporting event in the Philippines as ABS-CBN continues its massive coverage of the tournament for the fifth straight year in a row. The tournament was created in 2009 and formed a partnership between ABS-CBN and world renown Dragon Promotions, and has been a successful marriage that has brought hundreds of professional billiard professionals to Manila and international attention to the Philippines.

This year's event takes place at Resorts World Manila starting tomorrow October 31st through November 4th. ABS-CBN is dedicating 16+ hours of live coverage over the 5 days of the event. On November 5-7th the action continues with Team Asia vs Team West in the JBET.com Queens Cup. Today a press conference will be held at Resorts World in Newport Mall at 5:00pm for all interested media.


Since 2009, Musngi and Williams have enjoyed a successful friendship and partnership in bringing the Philippines international spectacle to the rest of the world.

The event's fledgling early years has quickly evolved into the most prestigious event in the world to win in the sport of women's billiards. ABS-CBN and Dragon Promotions has successfully cultivated interest from other nations and broadcasters which this year will include South Korea, India, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, and in the West with parts of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Women's World 10-Ball will be aired also internationally on ABS-CBN and The Filipino Channel which covers the USA in strong territories such as New York, Illinois, California, Florida, New Jersey, and 30 other states. Additional coverage also in Canada, Puerto Rico, and Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, and many more. Fifteen countries on three continents will be airing the matches. Just in the Philippines alone, ABS-CBN has a reach of over 50 million viewers which represents about 70% of the households in the Philippines.
