ALA-COBRA TUNAY NA LAKAS BOXING PRESS CON AND WEIGH-IN AT GAISANO GRAND MALL PhilBoxing.com Sat, 20 Jul 2013 The fighters for ALA-Cobra Tunay Na Lakas Boxing Tour had an official weighin and presscon, Friday, July 20 at the Gaisano Grand Mall in Bacolod City for today's July 21 boxing event at the Bacolod Arts, Youth and Sports (BAYS) Center. This fight card will feature ALA Boxing stable's rising prospects, seven of which are from Bacolod City pitted against top fighters across the country.? Headlining the free event is ALA?s young gun Jimmy Paypa (12-2, 4 KO?s) of Cebu City going up against Christian ?Bicolano Lastikman? Abila (9-11-3, 1 KO) of Metro Manila in a 10-round Featherweight confrontation. The 20-year old Paypa who is on a 10-fight winning streak will square off against the tough Bicolano who is a former Philippines Boxing Federation (PBF) super bantamweight champion and WBC Asian Boxing Council super featherweight title contender. Supporting the main event is Bacolod City?s undefeated pride, Juren Labordo (9-0, 5 KO?s) who is set to put his unblemished record on the line against former Philippines Boxing Federation (PBF) light flyweight contender Ricky ?Tyson? Sabia (10-9-2, 5 KOs) of Elorde Stable in Metro Manila.? In a showdown of two undefeated rising upstarts, Bacolod City?s Rolando Servania (3-0-0, 1 KO) and Zamboanga del Norte?s Jonas Sultan (2-0, 1 KO) will lock horns for 6 rounds in 115 lbs match-up. Another boxer to watch out is rising prospect, Junjesie Ibgos (4-0, 4 KO?s) of Bacolod City who will try to win with another knockout and keep his 100% KO percentage intact against Lyndon Castillo (2-3, 2 KO?s) of Butuan City. First time professional boxer Romel Redondon of Bacolod City battles fellow debutant Raul Yu of Butuan City in a 4 rounds junior bantamweight division. Another first-time professional boxer, Alvin Sibugan of Bacolod City will battle against Steve Recaborda (1-2-3, 0 KO) of Dumaguete City. In his second professional fight, bantamweight John Rey Melligen (1-0, 0 KO) looks for his 2nd consecutive professional win against Jemart Amlani who will be fighting his very first professional assignment and wrapping up the fight card is Bacolod's Roniel Parcon fighting his professional debut bout against Vonjeryl Gino (2-1, 2 KO's) of Butuan City.
