FRANKIE GOMEZ INJURES KNEE IN TRAINING

RANDY CABALLERO VS. MIGUEL ROBLES MOVED TO MAIN EVENT OF JULY 20 FOX SPORTS NETWORKS/FOX DEPORTES TELEVISED CARD AT FANTASY SPRINGS RESORT CASINO IN INDIO, CALIF.

THREE 2012 U.S. OLYMPIANS ADDED TO UNDERCARD PLUS, FORMER WORLD CHAMPION VICTOR ORTIZ TO MEET & GREET FANS ON FIGHT NIGHT

INDIO, CALIF., July 16 - With Frankie "Pitbull" Gomez forced to withdraw from his scheduled July 20 bout against DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley due to a knee injury, local Coachella hero Randy Caballero's previously scheduled co-featured fight against Puerto Rico's Miguel Robles will become the main event at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif., with three 2012 United States Olympians joining him on this sizzling summer card that will be televised live on FOX Sports Networks and FOX Deportes and on a delayed basis on FUEL TV.

In newly added televised bouts, 2012 Olympian Joseph "Jo Jo" Diaz of South El Monte, Calif. will battle an opponent to be named in a six-round featherweight bout and Diaz' Olympic teammate Errol Spence Jr. will see action in a six-round junior middleweight fight against an opponent to be named. Their fellow Olympian Terrell Gausha will join them on the card in a four/six round bout that will be televised time permitting.

In addition to all the great action in the ring, one of boxing's most popular stars, former Welterweight World Champion "Vicious" Victor Ortiz, will be in attendance on fight night as a special VIP guest to meet and greet fans. Fresh off of his appearance on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, and eager to resume his quest to regain a world championship, Ortiz will meet ticket holder, sign autographs and take pictures from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. inside the Fantasy Springs Special Events Center.

Caballero vs. Robles, a 10-round bantamweight bout, is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Corona. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. PT on fight night with the first bell ringing at 6:00 p.m. PT. The FOX Sports Networks and FOX Deportes bilingual simulcast will air live at 11:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. PT. Calling the action on FOX Sports Networks will be Mario Solis and Doug Fischer while Spanish language commentary on FOX Deportes will be provided by Mauricio Cardenas, Israel Vazquez and Daniel Ponce de Leon.

Tickets, priced at $25, $35 and $45, are on sale now at the Fantasy Springs Box Office, by calling (800) 827-2946 or online at www.fantasyspringsresort.com.

20-year-old Joseph "Jo Jo" Diaz (6-1, 3 KO's) has boxing insiders excited about his potential to become a world champion in the coming years. A southpaw wise beyond his years in the ring, Diaz has proven himself more than ready for big things, and on July 20 he hopes to keep his positive momentum going in front of his Southern California fans.

Dallas, Texas' Errol Spence Jr. (6-0, 5 KO's) is a gifted southpaw keeping up a torrid pace in the junior middleweight division. Following his appearance at the 2012 Olympics, the 23-year-old turned pro last November at Fantasy Springs and scored two wins before the end of the year. In 2013, the southpaw has added four more victories, including three first round knockouts.

A native of Cleveland now making his home in Los Angeles, Terrell Gausha (9-2, 3 KO's) has gotten his professional boxing career off to a strong start after a stellar amateur run that included several titles and a spot on the 2012 U.S. Olympic team. Now showing off his speed and power as a pro, the 25-year-old will look to impress once again on July 20.

In a six-round undercard match-up, surging middleweight Angel Osuna (10-3-1, 6 KO's) of Coachella puts his six fight winning streak on the line against Salt Lake City's Christian Nava (2-3-1).

Undercard action will also see a four-round junior lightweight battle that will pit Santa Ana's Eric Ituarte (5-0) against LA's Humberto Zatarain (3-1-1) and in a four-round heavyweight opener, Coachella's Alex Rivera makes his professional debut against fellow newcomer C.J. Leveque of Los Angeles.
