ALABEL, Sarangani (July 4, 2013) - Congressman Manny Pacquiao (center) leads the ground breaking ceremony of a multi-million banana growing venture of RP Bahrain Harvest Inc. (RPBH) in barangay Domolok Thursday, July 4, with Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon (extreme left) and Vice Governor Jinkee Pacquiao (2nd from left) assisted by RPBH director Ebrahim Al Ameer and Ambassador Amable Aguiluz V, the President?s Special Envoy to the Gulf Cooperation Council and RPBH president.
The project?s initial capital is P85 million for the development of 85 hectares that would expand eventually to 500 hectares. RPBH would produce and export fresh Class A Cavendish bananas, provide jobs to the community and share knowledge on banana farming.
