THREE PINOY BOXERS WIN IN JAPAN

Three Filipino boxers won in fights held in the International Boxing Classic fight card held Sunday at Ishikawa Sangyuo Hall in Kanazawa City, Japan.
Trainer Juanito Ablaca informed philboxing that Marlon Tapales won by 5th round knockout against Ruben Manakane of Indonesia. Tapales was initially reported to be fighting Carlos Ruben Dario Ruiz of Argentina.
Tapales (22W-2L, 9 KO's) goes back to the win column after he suffered a majority decision loss to David Sanchez in a bout held in Mexico.
Jonathan Baat won by technical decision in the 9th rnd against Chinese Qiu Xiao Jun and also Mark Gil Melligen won by TKO 6 round against Indonesian James Mokoginta.
