In the main event, 21-year-old Gensan?s native Alie Laurel (8-2, 5 KO?s) of the Manny Pacquiao Stable of boxers faces 51-fights veteran Rodel "Kidlat" Quilaton, 29, in a 10-rounder battle for the LUZPROBA bantamweight (118 lbs) title. Will the young prot?g? of Manny Pacquiao have the required talent to defeat an old warrior like Quilaton who has battled some of the meanest Asian fighters in the Philippines and Thailand... or this fight is a bad idea? Fight fans in Manila will find out this afternoon at the Victory Mall Caloocan. In the co-main event, promising 23-year-old Rex Wao Singwancha (5-0, 4 KO?s) of the beautiful Mountain Province in northern Luzon fights for the Philippines Luzon Professional Boxing Association (LUZPROBA) super bantamweight (122 lbs) crown against leyte?o Dino ?Warrior? Lelis (9-9-2, 5 KO?s), member of the Cavite Boxing Stable. In addition, WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental Jr. Flyweight champion 20-year-old Jay-ar Estremos (8-5, 2 Kos) of Davao clashes in a non-title war against 31-fight veteran Ryan ?Sniper? Maliteg of the Everlasting Team of Fighters. The first fight of the afternoon will feature young super featherweight Stephen Gelawa Singwancha (3-0-1, 1 KO) of the Highland Boxing Stable taking in a collision course against 20-year-old Arnel ?The Hitman?
