Moments ago at the Finish Line Sports Grill in Pomona, California, Russian Andrey Klimov retained his WBC USA Lightweight Crown with a hard fought majority decision victory over gutsy Robert Rodriguez, 6-1, 2KOs with scores of 78-74, 75-73, and 76-76. The win stretched Andrey Klimov's unbeaten record to 13-0, 7KOs. His unrelenting attack eventually wore down the Mexican challenger who was forced to cover up and just return fire in spurts particularly in the final rounds. It was a grandslam for the Russians as Andrey Klimov's two other compatriots similarly posted impressive wins, with lanky Junior Welterweight Alexander Podresov making a target practice of game but outgunned Imarjoe Miller, to get a shutout points victory, 40-36, and Lightweight Vage Saruhanyan TKOed hometown favorite Ronald Rodriguez in the 4th round to complete the Russian carnage.

Ricky Duenas knocked out Rufino Flores in the second round of their Junior Middleweight battle.
Super Featherweight Jesus Partida posted an upset majority decision win over Carlos Gonzalez, 40-36, 39-37, and 38-38.
Jessie Villanueva scored a majority decision over Emmanuel Machorro, 39-37 twice, and 38-38 in their super bantamweight fight.
Welterweight Jessie Roman upped his perfect record to 10-0, 6KOs with a unanimous decision over Ramon Flores, 40-36 accross the board.
