Shanelle vs Borana in Poison Battle of the Beauties PhilBoxing.com Fri, 09 Mar 2012   On Sunday, March 11th 2012, Sandcastle Billiards and Dragon Promotions will be hosting a very special event, The Poison Challenge Match Series featuring Shanelle Loraine versus Borana Andoni. Billed as "The Battle of the Beauties." Both ladies have been featured in the BleacherReport.com's Most Hottest Girls in Sports. A one day tournament will proceed the 8:00pm Poison Challenge Match that same day, with all events taking place at Sandcastle Billiards in Edison, New Jersey The Poison Challenge Match is brought to you by Dragon Promotions .Top billiards pro Charlie Williams, and the ?Sandman? of Sandcastle Billiards, Ed Liddawi, have collaborated to create a very special treat for pool fans of all ages and genders alike. "The Poison Battle of the Beauties is a fantastic concept and one that will definitely draw new audiences to watch. The Predator Group likes outside the box events like this and we are sure people from everywhere will love watching Shanelle and Borana play", said Nina Nigro, Marketing Manager for Predator Group. ?Battle of the Billiard Beauties? will feature international billiards star, Shanelle Loraine, a Filipina from Guam, as she faces local celebrity female player and Rack Starz? own, Borana Andoni of New York City. The two women will play a one set race to 9 in 9-Ball. These two lovely young ladies have definitely made their mark in the billiards industry as they strive to perfect their game and promote the sport in many ways. Shanelle began playing pool in 2000, and played on the University of Central Florida pool team for four years. She has been invited to international events worldwide as well as appeared on several television programs and modeled for shampoo commericials and telecommunications companies. Shanelle trains in Orlando FL, and is coached by Top World Ranked Pro, Charlie Williams who has also coached the likes of Allison Fisher, Yu Ram Cha, Rodney Morris, Erica Park and many more. A New York player from the Bronx, Borana was born in Albania. She plays on the JPNEWT tour and Tony Robles? 9 Ball Tour. She frequents Amsterdam Billiards room in New York City and recently went to the Philippines to compete in the World Mixed Doubles Classic with Mika Immonen as his partner. Borana currently plays a role in the web series, ?Sharks? and also in the upcoming film, ?9 Ball The Movie?. ?My dedication and commitment to the billiards industry is to provide the proper environment and platform for veteran as well as novice players to enjoy and introduce them to all the beautiful facets of the sport. Pool rooms that are actually dedicated to the players are very limited in the area.
