On March 4, 2012 at the Cebu Coliseum, SGG Sports Promotions will present a two ( 2 ) Championship bouts in a boxing event featuring his future world champions in a one exciting and action-packed eight ( 8 ) bout boxing card. At stake this coming Sunday, is the WBO Asia-Pacific Jr. Lightweight Championship between Weng Haya and former WBO Oriental Champion Jose Ocampo. This promises to be a slam-bang bout. Weng Haya is best remembered as the unknown Filipino boxer who floored WBO World Champion, Orlando Salido twice last December 17, 2011 fight in Mexico. The Mexicans had the biggest surprise of their lives seeing their boxing champion on the floor. But luck was not with Weng that time, he lost in the 8th round. Then, there is the Philippine Lightweight Championship between the current champion, JAY SOLMIANO of Manila against REY LABAO ( former WBO ASPAC Champion ) of Lilo-an, Leyte. This is another perfect match-up. The complete card has Ciso Morales ( a tune-up fight for a forthcoming world title schedule ) vs. Joash Aparecio; the promising Virgilio Silvano of Omega Gym vs. Roilo Golez ( a world contender boxer who once fought Sammy Gutierez and Edgar Sosa for the WBC Silver and International Flyweight Belt); Jessie Cris Rosales ( Buhay Boksingero Lightweight Champion ) vs. Elmer Pulbe of Pagadian City; Rennel Flechero vs Marlo Pasigna; Jasper Buhat vs. Jovan Mu?oz and the ABAP National Gold Medalist Jack Tepora on his debut as a professional against Walter Semblante of Mandaue City.
