CUELLO-SINGWANGCHA VS. LOPEZ ELIMINATOR TO BE HELD IN THE PHILIPPINES
By Chito Yu Katangkatang PhilBoxing.com Sat, 04 Feb 2012

Jaro and Canelo Promotions won the purse bid for the Denver Cuello-Singwangcha versus Ganigan Lopez world title eliminator. The bidding was held at the WBC Office in Mexico yesterday February 3, 2012. Cuello?s Promoters won the bidding with a USD 61,000.00 as against the USD 60,100.00 offer of Lopez?s promoter Boxeo de Gala.
The good news was announced by Canelo Promotions CEO Eddy Reynoso. According to Manager and International Promoter Aljoe Jaro, he plans to stage the fight on late April or first week of May 2012 either at the Ynares Sports Complex in Pasig or Ynares Center in Antipolo. ?I am very happy with the development. This has been mine and Denver?s dream. We always desired to let Denver fight before his countrymen. I am very excited for this event?, Jaro told Philboxing.
Meanwhile, Denver is scheduled to fight in a tune-up match in Iloilo City on March 10, 2012 against a yet to be announced foreign opponent. ?I am happy about the news. I know Canelo and Kuya Aljoe (Jaro) has been cooking something big for me and my fans. This is a great treat to us Pinoy Boxing fans. I will prepare myself best for this big fight. If I was able to win big in Mexico, then I will win it in a better fashion here. I would like to thank my Manager Aljoe Jaro and our Mexican Promoter Canelo Promotions?, the WBC Silver Straw Weight Champ stated.
