REY PEREZ DEFENDS GAB PHILIPPINE SUPERFLY TITLE AGAINST UNDEFEATED MARVIN MABAIT

GAB Philippine Superflyweight Champion Rey Perez (W13 L1 KO2) will defend his belt against his toughest opponent yet in Marvin Mabait (W15 L0 KO10) on January 28, 2012 at the Recom Dome in Caloocan City. The bout will be co-featured under the Dodie Boy Pe?alosa vs. Super James Singmanasak fight.
The fight will be a battle of two ring tacticians with Mabait being the favorite because of his greater knock out ratio. However Perez is a formidable champion having only lost to Japanese warrior Nobuo Nashiro and beating the rest of his opponents convincingly. Perez?s latest conquest was a technical decision victory over Prell Tupas while Mabait recently knocked out Eric Siregar. Marvin Mabait trains at the Pe?alosa Gym but is being managed by Zamboanga City Congressman Erbie Fabian.
