WILL MEXICAN JUAN ESQUERE BECOME THE NIGHTMARE TO MELINDO?S CHAMPIONSHIP DREAMS?

Former WBO and WBC Latino Light Flyweight Champion and world title challenger Juan Esquer of Mexico who will be facing one of the Philippines most highly skilled up and coming fighters Milan ?El Metodico? Melindo, looks to become Melindo?s biggest nightmare as he gets ready to face the world rated Filipino in a weeks time.

Esquer W 27(KO 21) L 9 D 2, who hails from Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico and will lead his World Team says he will be a Melindo?s nightmare come fight night. The 25 year- old orthodox fighter?s words can not be taken lightly as he boasts of an impressive resume having fought Former World Champion Carlos Tamara and challenged World Champions Iva Calderon and Hernan Marquez.

Team Philippines captain Melindo on the other hand is in his final stages of his preparation for the Pinoy Pride XI: Philippines vs The World that is presented by the Philippines ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports and is looking for an impressive win to position himself for that coveted world title.

The ?Panterita? from Mexico Esquer is scheduled to arrive the capital city of Manila on Sunday January 22, 2012 and will be presented to the national media the following day in the Pinoy Pride Official Press Conference for the opponents at Shakey?s P. Tuazon, Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines 11 AM in the morning.

He then will leave for Cebu City on January 24, 2012 and immediately is going proceed to another press conference at the MAYA Mexican Restaurant at the Crossroads in Banilad, Cebu City, Philippines.

PINOY PRIDE XI: PHILIPPINES VS THE WORLD will be on January 28, 2012 at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel and Casino and will feature the rest of the Team Philippines fighters Mhar Jhun Macahilig, OPBF Champion Merlito ?Tiger? Sabillo, Joseph Von Minoza and KO specialist Lorenzo Villanueva who sports an amazing record of 21 wins with 20 by way of knock-out. They will be facing opponents of different nationalities. A World Trophy will be awarded to the team that wins at least 3 out of 5 bouts of the competition.
