Sonsona vs Fulgencio moved to Feb. 25

"Marvelous" Marvin Sonsona?s fight against Carlos ?El Flaco? Fulgencio of the Dominican Republic has been moved from February 4 to February 25.
Promoter Sammy Gello-ani informed philboxing yesterday that the boxing event will still be held at the Hoops Dome in Lapulapu City.
Sonsona (15W-1L-1D, 12 KO?s)continues his campaign as a superbantamweight after his short stint as WBO world
superflyweight champion. He beat Carlos Jacobo of Mexico by unanimous decision in the same venue last October. Fulgencio (19W-5L-1D, 12 KO?s) won in his last bout by split decision in Mexico against Oswaldo Castro.
Scheduled in the undercards are Philippine lightweight champion Jay Solmiano who will defend his title against Rey Labao and Weng Haya who will trade punches with Jose Ocampo for the vacant WBO Asia-Pacific featherweight title.
Haya got a lot of attention in Mexico last month when he decked WBO world featherweight champion Orlando Salido twice before being stopped in the eighth round.
