DODIE BOY JR. SEES ACTION VERSUS KOREAN FOE ON JANUARY 28 IN CALOOCAN

Undefeated Super Bantam Dodie Boy Pe?alosa Jr. will face his second foreign opponent in Korean Jong Won Jung on January 28, 2012 at the Recom Dome in Caloocan City. The event is one of the highlights of the City?s 50th Charter Anniversary Celebration and is being organized through the support of Mayor Recom Echiverri.
According to boxing legend and promoter Gerry Pe?alosa, the tough Korean foe will be another test for his nephew. ?Koreans are known for their tough chin. We will see how Dodie Jr. will fare against his second foreign opponent.? Dodie Jr?s younger brother will also fight for the second time in the undercard against Jeffrey Parajora.
In a co-featured bout undefeated Bantam Marvin Mabait will challenge Rey Perez for the GAB Philippine Bantamweight Belt. Also featured will be a non title bout between IBF Pan Pacific Flyweight Champion Sonny Boy Jaro and Jayson Rotoni.
In the undercards, Ren-Ren Tesorio will battle Baby Marfil while come back boxer Aldrin Guara will try to shake off the ring rust by fighting Larry Ibarra.
The event is presented by GerryPens Promotions and GMA7 in cooperation with the City Government of Caloocan. The fights will be aired via GMA News TV.
