Boxing at 2011 Batang Pinoy National Championships wraps up in Naga City, Camarines Sur with 9 gold medal bouts. A total of 63 boxers from different areas in the country aged 13 to 15 years old converge in this 4-day amateur boxing event organized by PSC. All gold and silver medal winners from different area qualifiers were invited to join the hostilities, being sanctioned by ABAP and officiated by ABREJAP.

A modest campaign for Team Cebu City, who sent 2 boxers and as expected, bemedaled Junrel Jimenez captured the light pinweight, 46 kgs. gold in dominating fashion while teammate Hipolito Banal had to settle for silver in the paperweight/ 44 kgs., losing to talented Roberto Miguel Jalnaiz of Mis Or.

Team Talisay City, the "underdogs" as their coach Rashid Bacus would describe the team, has a gold in Kit Ceron Garces (40 kgs./ mosquitoweight) and bronze in Cendrix Joshua Bacus (36 kgs./ antweight).

Team Tayabas also had an excellent showing, grabbing 1 gold, 2 silvers and 2 bronzes courtesy of Jessie Diaz (5o kgs./ light flyweight), EJ Nares (38 kgs./ minimumweight), Rammel Openar (42 kgs./ light paperweight), Manuel Cabrera (44 kgs./ paperweight) and Wendell Tierra (48 kgs./ pinweight).

Other gold medal winners and their teams include Mario Bautista of Himamaylan City (42 kgs./ light paperweight) and Angelou Plania of Gen. Santos City (52 kgs./ flyweight).

List of other medalist include: John Smith Gonzales of Leyte (silver at antweight), Mark Anthony Hapin of Bicol (bronze at antweight), John Rick Navarro of Mandaluyong City and Mark Lloyd Buban of Laguna (bronze at minimumweight), Julirev Villahermosa of Maasin City (silver at mosquitoweight), Elrick Pamisa of Mis Or and Jerome Gagate of Malabon City (bronze at mosquitoweight), Raynald Lao of Mis Or and Orville King Olaivar of Tagbilaran City (bronze at light paperweight), Samuel Lontayao of Mandaluyong City (bronze at paperweight).
