RESULTS OF SUMMIT FIGHT NIGHT AMATEUR SERIES, DEC. 11 PhilBoxing.com Mon, 12 Dec 2011 Another slambang amateur boxing affair was witnessed as SUMMIT Natural Drinking Water Amateur Fight Night Series unfolded at the Gaisano Country Mall carpark, Dec. 11 at 6 pm. Twenty-three amateur pugs from different areas in the Visayas region and a Japanese fighter slug it out in this free-to-the-public boxing extravaganza. First bout saw Reymond Esgana of Phil-Aust boxing club winning on points against John Paul Tanodra of Mabolo Elementary School (26 kgs.) and the rest of the bouts are as follows: Ighan Loveno of Cabancalan Elementary School WP Rebel Reyes also of Cabancalan Elementary School (32 kgs.), Warren Gabumpa of Pit-os National High School WP Bryan Remedio of the University of the Visayas (48kgs.), Ferde San Roque of Cabancalan National High School WP Jiboy Mayang also of Cabancalan National High School (48 kgs.), Christian Bacolod of Mabolo National High School WP Richard Barrios of Bais City (50 kgs.), JK Malupay of Cabancalan WP Raul Yu of Talamban (52 kgs.), Chellwellan Cantel of Cabancalan National High School WP Jason Formentera of Camotes Island(53 kgs.), Juren Labordo of Bacolod City WP Richie Montealto of Consolacion (53 kgs.), Mardy Muana of Cabancalan National High School RSC-round 3 Virden Rivera of Antique. Eleventh bout of the evening featured Japanese fighter Ezidi Kazuma of Tokyo edging Tony Jumao-as protege Marion Alihis of Sanai boxing club on points in a blood and guts-type of brawl that left the spectators in awe. The most appreciated bout of the evening was followed by a points win of Rey Morales of Bacolod City against Eleno Traya of Cabancalan.
