MILAN MELINDO IS AN INTERESTED SPECTATOR ON VILORIA-SEGURA TITLE FIGHT

One of the highest ranked Filipino fighters in all boxing sanctioning bodies MILAN ?EL METODICO? MELINDO, is scheduled to fly to Manila to support fellow Filipino Brian ?The Hawaiin Punch? Villoria who will be defending his WBO Flyweight World title against Mexico?s Giovanni Segura.
Melindo who is ranked in the top ten in all major boxing sanctioning bodies will be taking the earliest flight out of Cebu City right after the Pinoy Pride X event in Cebu where he will likewise be supporting fellow ALA Fighter Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista and will be at the Ynares Center just in time for the Viloria-Segura battle.
?I really want to watch this fight and observe Giovanni Segura. Segura is a top pound for pound fighter and it would be great to fight him in the future. I also feel we should support our Filipino fighter Viloria because he is fighting for our country,? said Melindo
Considered to be Philippine boxing?s method man, Melindo is ranked number 3 with the WBO could be in a possible collision course with the aggressive Mexican Segura should he win over Viloria.
Milan Melindo will be having a busy 2012 as stated by his handlers. He will be featured in international fights next year through the next ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports? Pinoy Pride mega boxing series that would be in January.
