Servania's undefeated Mexican opponent set to face media and hold public workout Wednesday

CEBU -- On December 7, 11:00 AM, one of the featured boxers in Pinoy Pride X and undefeated prospect from Mexico, Marcos ?Geraldito? Cardenas and his trainer, Jesus Edmundo Gaytan, will be having a press conference that will be attended by highly-reputed media personnel from television, radio, and print.
The gathering, set according to the request of Team Cardenas, will happen at the Mooon Caf? IT Park.
Cardenas holds an amazing record of 12 wins with 9 of these coming by knockout, no losses, and a draw. He will be facing his Filipino counterpart, Genesis ?Azukal? Servania, who holds a record of 15 wins, the most recent victory coming by a unanimous decision against a hard-hitting veteran Mexican named Gerson Guerrero.
Their ten-round match will be a battle of boxing prospects that will happen on December 10, 2011 at the Hoops Dome, Lapu-Lapu City. The tenth installment of the boxing mega-series is presented by ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN and supported by partner brands namely: Cobra Tunay na Lakas Energy Drink, Summit Natural Drinking Water, SM Super Malls, KIA Motors Cebu, Radisson Blu Hotel, EGI Resort and Hotel, Harold?s Hotel, Meal Time Food Factory, as well as Pacific Mall Mandaue, MAYA Mexican Restaurant, MOOON Caf? and ABACA Resort.
On the same day, at 5:00 PM, fight fans in SM City Cebu will be treated to a public workout session featuring Mendoza and Cardenas, the two undefeated Mexican boxers bent on proving themselves against their Filipino opponents.
The Servania ? Cardenas match is one of the main features in the Pinoy Pride X fight card and is expected by fight fans to be a bout to watch out for as these two prospects will be staking their undefeated records on the line.
Other featured fights are between Pan Soo Kim and Romeo Jakosalem for the OPBF Light Welterweight title, Rocky ?The Road Warrior? Fuentes and Lookdiaw Tor Buamas, and Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista and Miguel Angel Mendoza for the IBF International Featherweight Championship.
