The six-fight card was presented by Golden Boy Promotions in association with Promociones Miguel Cotto and H2 Entertainment. The first fight on the broadcast will see Mares in his first attempt for a world title on May 2, 2010 where he scored a controversial draw against then IBF World Champion Yonnhy Perez while the co-feature visits Mares fight against tough prospect Jonathan Arias on June 27, 2008 which ended in a 10-round unanimous decision. Mares is preparing to defend his championships in a rematch against former World Champion Joseph Agbeko on Dec. 3 at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. on SHOWTIME Championship Boxing. The TeleFutura broadcast begins at 12:30am ET/PT (11:30pm CT).
