Full Card Announced for Hitz Boxing 'Thanksgiving Eve Belvedere Bash' PhilBoxing.com Tue, 15 Nov 2011 The full card has been announced for Hitz Boxing's triumphant return of the "Thanksgiving Eve Belvedere Bash", on Wednesday, November 23, at the posh Belvedere Banquet in Elk Grove, Illinois. In the night's potentially sensational main event, former world title challenger Johnny Lewus (25-4-1, 21 KOs) will face Saint Paul, Minnesota's Allen "The American Boy" Litzau (13-6, 7 KOs) in a guaranteed-all-action eight-round lightweight battle. On the undercard, undefeated Chicago heavyweight Dave Latoria (9-0, 5 KOs) will face Raymundo Lopez (3-4, 1 KO) of Holland, Michigan in a six-rounder; undefeated Chicago super middleweight Mike "Hollywood" Jimenez (4-0, 3 KOs) will go four against James Denson (4-5, 2 KOs) of Akron, Ohio; former UFC fighter and Chicago cruiserweight Terry Martin (4-0, 4 KOs) will look to continue his knockout streak in boxing against Kia Daniels (6-6, 4 KOs) from Louisville, Kentucky; Bruce "The Rage" Rumbolz (22-23-2, 15 KOs) of Sterling, Illinois will take on Chicago's Gerald Taylor (4-3-1, 2 KOs) in a six-round all-Illinois battle of light heavyweight veterans; and Chicago Golden Gloves Champion and aspiring MMA fighter Erick Correa will make his pro debut against Keon Graham (2-6) of Akron Ohio. "This is the best 'guy's night out' of the year and we've got an all-action card set in a luxurious venue for the fans to enjoy an old-school sophisticated night of great fights," said Hitz Boxing Founder, Bobby Hitz. "Johnny Lewus and his opponent Allen Litzau are both the type of fighters who throw a lot of punches, so the main event is going to be a war. Plus, we've got some very exciting local prospects taking on opponents who come to fight. We're bringing back the annual Thanksgiving Eve shows in fine fashion with this lineup of fights."
