Former WBO interim LT. Flyweight world Champion, JOHN RIEL CASIMERO, is ready to show the boxing world that it will be a NEW Quadro Alas they will see in action on October 15, 2011 at the Hoops Dome, Lapulapu City. It will be remembered that he got his title when he defeated Cesar Canchilla in Nicaragua last December of 2009 and lost it to Ramon Garcia Hirales in 2010.
Casimero is on a rigid training regimen for the past two and a half months at the Omega Gym. You can see the power, speed and movements during sparring sessions. There is no question about it ? he can pull a win if he wants to. It all depends on Casimero come fight night.
He is slated to fight T.I. YAMAGATA SENTILLAS of the Flores boxing stable. Sentillas is no push-over. Last August in Sibonga, Cebu, he rose from a first round knockdown to beat Noel Adelmita by unanimous decision.
The clash between Casimero and Sentillas will be something to watch as this will be an explosive fight. This will be on the undercard of Marvin Sonsona vs Carlos Jacobo at the Hoops Dome.
