Undefeated North Bergen Featherweight Kamil Laszczyk faces Terrance Roy on October 1 in Tunica, Miss. PhilBoxing.com Thu, 29 Sep 2011 North Bergen, N.J. (September 28, 2011) - Undefeated featherweight prospect Kamil Laszczyk (3-0, 3 KO) of North Bergen, N.J. will make his first ring appearance since April when he faces Terrance Roy (10-32, 2 KO) in a four-round bout this Saturday, October 1 at the Grand Ballroom at Fitzgerald?s Hotel & Casino in Tunica, Miss. The 20-year-old Laszczyk, who is orginally from Wroclaw, Poland is currently at Global Boxing Gym making the final preparations for his last minute fight on ?Fight At The Fitz,? which is promoted by Prize Fight Promotions and Global Boxing. Laszczyk is currently working with N.J. based trainer Aroz ?Terrific? Gist. Following his three quick wins here in America, Laszczyk returned to Poland to visit with family for several months, where he trained with famed Polish trainer Grzegorz Strugala, who trains top-rated cruiserweight contender Mateusz Masternak. "I'm very glad to be back in the ring doing what I love," said Laszczyk. The 37-year-old Roy of Covington, Tenn. is coming off a shocking first round knockout of Noah Zudi in April, who entered the fight with a record of 14-1. The card will be headlined by the clash between Karim Mayfield (14-0-1, 9 KO) and Patrick Lopez (20-4, 12 KO) in a 12-round NABO junior lightweight title bout.
