CONG. ERBIE FABIAN PRESENTS MABAIT VS. SIREGAR IN ZAMBOANGA CITY

Undefeated bantamweight prospect Marvin Mabait (W14-KO9-L0-D2) will fight before his town mates in Zamboanga City on October 10, 2011 against Indonesian slugger Eric Diaz Siregar. Having watched Mabait fight, the kid is a strong hope for a future world title. Marvin is lanky, slick and has both the skills and power to outbox or knockout any opponent placed before him.
According to boxing legend Gerry Pe?alosa who has closely watched Mabait?s career, ?If this kid becomes a world champion, it will be difficult to strip any belt from him. I love his patience inside the ring.? Mabait is under the care of Hon. Erbie Fabian, the dynamic Congressman of Zamboanga City who promotes and helps boxers through his Blue Stallion Boxing Stable. Fabian is one of the foremost supporters of Philippine Boxing and this event is his gift to the good people of Zamboanga City. Marvin is being trained by veteran trainer and coach Michael ?Jojo? Palacios.
Also featured in the card are the following bouts: Matthew Arcillas vs. Nilo Taganas (122 lbs), Joel Ventual vs. Jherom Tuyor (108) and Ren-Ren Tesorio vs. Romy Munding (108 lbs).
