Yraola Stable?s Ivan Soriano and Eduard Penerio to fight in Thailand and China

PhilBoxing.com

GenSan boy Ivan Soriano of the Rajan Yraola stable will go back to Thailand and face Petchasakda Por Suwwanchoke in an 8-round non-title fight set at 107 lbs this September 30 at Chonburi Thailand.

The 22 year old Soriano, (10W-1L-0D, 5KO) is based in Quezon City. He is a 5'4 orthodox fighter, is rated minimumweight number 16 here the Philippines, and a provincemate of boxing icon and Sarangani representative Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

Por Suwwanchoke is a young 18 year old with a record of 3W-0L-0D, 1KO. This will be the third time Soriano will fight in Thailand. In his previous two visits, he scored two short TKO wins against Thai fighters. Soriano has scored six straight wins since losing in Cebu City to Delmar Cabatas last May 15, 2010 at the Wilfredo Cabalse Sports Complex in Mabolo.

Soriano is trained by Jhun Agrabio and his manager Dr. Yraola informed this writer through email that he has signed the contract and has the airline tickets for Thailand. " This is his (Soriano) 3rd fight this year in Thailand, after this fight, if we will win the next fight might be a regional championship" Yraola said.

Soriano stopped Veeradej Manopkarnchang in the second round last April 22 and Sola Lookthonkang in the first round last July 22. These twin victories made the boxing fans in Thailand sit up and take notice.

Soriano?s stablemate, former WBO Oriental Flyweight champion Eduard "Big Heart" Penerio, will fight for the WBO World Youth lightflyweight championship against another Thai boxer, Lookrak Kiatmungmee this October 2 in Tiangin, China.

Penerio (13W-1L-0D, 8KO), is rated flyweight number 18 here in the Philippines. He is 22 years old, stands 5'3, and hails from Cotabato City and now fights out of Quezon City. The only blemish on his record is the 6-round TKO loss to Leyte?s Ryan Tampus last August 6 at the Island Cove Hotel in Kawit, Cavite.
Kaitmungmee (7W-2L-0D, 4KO) is rated flyweight number 5 in Thailand. He won his last bout bu third round TKO after suffering back to back stoppage losses to Liempetch Sor Veerapol (TKO1) ug Noknoi Sitthiprasert (KO2) in bouts held in Thailand.

Penerio vows to try his best to bounce back from his lone loss and enter the world ratings.
