CUELLO-SINGWANGCHA OFF TO MEXICO ON SEPT. 15 FOR CAMACHO FIGHT

PhilBoxing.com

Charismatic Promoter and Manager Aljoe Jaro called this scribe recently to inform us that he and his ward Denver Cuello-Singwangcha will be leaving for Mexico via Vancouver and Las Vegas on September 15. ?Contract has been signed, sealed and delivered. We will be in Vegas to watch Mayweather-Ortiz then will train a bit at the Mayweather Gym before hitting Mexico. Denver will handle this easily. He will have an early KO win without any scar and then we?ll move on to facing Gannigan Lopez for his WBC Silver Belt in October. The Camacho bout will be aired via GMA7 by delayed telecast. After Lopez, Ioka might move up in weight and vacate the regular WBC Belt. That will be Denver?s chance to grab the belt either automatically or by fighting the number 1 ranked minimumweight.?

Cuello-Singwangcha has been training like there?s no tomorrow lately. I spotted him at the Jaro Gym and saw him spar with the big guys at the stable. He can is capable of hurting anyone placed before him. The kid has the raw power which reminded me of a smaller Pacquiao way back then. When, I asked him about what motivates him he answered, ?I have my family who depends on me. I have my manager and my team. Of course I want my country to be proud of me. That is why I am so hungry to fight anyone just to get to the top and get that World Title Belt which I have been craving for all my life.?

Denver will be under the flag of Canelo Promotions but Aljoe Jaro has also been maintaining a good business relationship with Zanfer Promotions. ?In boxing, you should gain friends and avoid making enemies. Promoters should help each other for the good of the sport. Especially in the Philippines, the problem with us we treat other promoters as competitors. Well, we should not. We all handle Pinoy boxers. We should sit down and talk so that our boxers can make good fights and bring more glory to our country. Mexico is the best country in the world in terms of boxing talent, but we have the potential. We are rich with talented boxers. I am sure that we will never run out of boxing champions for as long as we do the right thing for our fighters.?

The Cuello-Camacho fight will be held on September 24 in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Watch out for it.
