Buffer to announce Pacquiao-Larios

For the very first time in Philippine boxing history, the world's top boxing announcer Michael Buffer will be arriving in the country to do the announcing chores for the Manny Pacquiao- Oscar Larios showdown set on July 2 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Buffer, who has the patent rights over the 'Let's Get Ready to Rumble' line, will also announce the big undercard fights in the line-up, according to Eric Pineda, a key member of the Manny Pacquiao Promotions.
Also yesterday, Larios, in a bold move that means he is not cowed one bit by the reputation of the fire-breathing Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao, has signed the dotted line of his contract to fight the Filipino southpaw on July 2.
Richard Schaefer, chief executive officer of the Golden Boy Promotions which represents Larios, has signed the contract in behalf of their fighter who will face the Filipino icon in a 12-round showdown for the World Boxing Council International super-featherweight title.
Eric Pineda informed yesterday that Schaefer has already given the green light for Larios to face Pacquiao, where the Mexican is set to receive a whopping $450,000 purse, the biggest so far in his career.
