ROBERTO ?CALIBRE? GONZALES HEADLINES ?RUMBLE: INDEPENDENCE DAY SHOWDOWN? IN BATANGAS

PhilBoxing.com

Undefeated super featherweight prospect Roberto ?Calibre? Gonzales (W17-L0-D0-KO7) will headline Saved by the Bell Promotions? RUMBLE: Independence Day Showdown on Sunday, June 12, 2011, 6PM at Agoncillo, Batangas. Gonzales will fight for the Vacant RP GAB Super featherweight Title against seasoned veteran and former WBO ASPAC Superfeatherweight Champion Amor Tino of Benguet.

According to his Manager and Promoter Elmer Anuran, Gonzales has also been scheduled to fight on August for the vacant WBA International Super featherweight belt against Roy Mukhlis of Indonesia. Gonzales rose to TV Fame on the Sunday boxing show Saved by the Bell which used to be aired on CS9. He excites the fans with his no holds barred brawling style which gained him the monicker ?Calibre?. Tino is a very formidable opponent having fought in the ring for 710 rounds against 110 rounds for the young Gonzales. This will be a real test for Gonzales before his scheduled International title fight in August.

The Event will also feature the following power packed undercards:
