LOS ANGELES (June 7, 2011) ? Undefeated World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight champion ?Bam Bam? BRANDON RIOS (27-0-1, 19 KOs), of Oxnard, Calif., his opponent, two-time world title challenger and current Top-Five-rated contender URBANO ANTILLON (28-2, 20 KOs), of Maywood, Calif., undefeated light heavyweight MIKE LEE (5-0, 3 KOs), of Chicago, the University of Notre Dame champion, undefeated No. 2-rated lightweight sensation MERCITO GESTA (21-0-1, 11 KOs), of Cebu, Philippines, and Hall of Fame promoter BOB ARUM will host a News Conference Luncheon, TODAY! Tuesday, June 7, in the Pacific Ballroom at the Wilshire Grand Los Angeles (930 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif. 90017.) Lunch will be served at Noon PT with the News Conference beginning at 12:30 p.m. PT.

They will be announcing their world championship event, which will take place Saturday, July 9, at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Televised live on SHOWTIME?, beginning at 10 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast), the broadcast will open with a 10-round junior middleweight rumble between former International Boxing Federation (IBF) welterweight champion KERMIT CINTRON (32-3-1, 28 KOs) of Carolina, Puerto Rico, and CARLOS MOLINA (18-4-2, 6 KOs), of Chicago.

Lee , who trains in Houston with Ronnie Shields, and Gesta, who will be making his Top Rank debut, will highlight the non-televised undercard.

The SHOWTIME Championship Boxing telecast will also include highlights from overseas as IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (28-0, 23 KOs), defends his title for the eighth time ? but first in his home country of Romania ? against mandatory challenger Jean-Paul Mendy (29-0-1, 16 KOs), from France.
