Legendary Trainer Kevin Rooney and Boxing Great Vinny Paz to assist in Corners
Baltimore, MD (June 4, 2011) ? Although the National Football League is amidst a well publicized lockout, Jake Smith?s Baltimore Boxing Promotions? ?Fed Hill Fight Fest? will bring hard hitting action directly outside of Baltimore?s M&T Bank Stadium Saturday, June 18.
Individual tickets to ?Fed Hill Fight Fest? are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Reserved tables are available for $350 and VIP tables are priced at $500. All tickets can be purchased by calling Chris at 443-848-6059.
The card will feature a number of pro-style amateur bouts with world rated fighters, female boxers and a heavyweight bout in the senior division. Assisting in the fighters? corners for select bouts will be world renowned trainer Kevin Rooney and legendary warrior Vinny Paz. Several of the Baltimore Ravens players are also going to be on hand for the festival-like atmosphere, which will have catered food from a number of local restaurants.
?It?s not every day that the opportunity comes up to do a show in this kind of environment,? said Smith, who trains a number of the fighters at Baltimore Boxing and Fitness. ?My company?s been doing shows for a number of years and this is by far the most excited I?ve ever been about promoting a card. June 18th will be a night to remember!?
Gates open at 2 pm and the opening bout is scheduled for 4. The bouts will be contested in section N of the parking lot directly outside of M&T Bank.
A percentage of the proceeds will go to Ronald ?Dink? Wilburn, a close friend of Smith who is currently battling Lymphoma.
